Get ready to breath deeply.

I’ll try not to gush profusely about how much I love neutrals. Again. If you want to know how I feel about them, and why our bedroom is on its way to looking like the following photographs, you can check here in this post. I also have already deeply apologized that this bedroom inspiration post has been such a long time coming. You can read my sincerest apologies in this post.

I don’t want to drag this out any further. Let’s travel to the mystical world of pinterest…

If our bedroom had huge floor to ceiling windows then this would be exactly what I am going for in our bedroom. I absolutely love everything. This was also where I decided that canopies are for grown-ups too.

I’m obsessed with the greys & whites happening in this bedroom. Especially the bedding. *deep sigh*

Sadly I don’t have space for a reading nook in our bedroom, but I am thinking about bringing in some burlap for our curtains. And maybe also adding a pop of color in the form of oversized polka dots sewn onto the curtains. Don’t tell John.

I’m thinking teal for the pop of color. The above is most definitely too much color, but I do love this soft teal color itself. I’m thinking a couple of pillows, a little in the window dressings, and maybe some fun accessories. We’ll see.

I want to show you this too:

I bought two matching catch-all bowls at HomeGoods while visiting my grandparents. Two dolla’ each. Woo-hoo! I love the colors in these little babies, so maybe some of them can be incorporated too. I’m trying to go slowly (SLOWLY!) and see how this room evolves. It still needs a lot of work, but I like where it’s headed.
